The Newberry is a world-renowned research library in Chicago, known for its extensive collection of printed material dating back six centuries. I had the privilege of leading the technical team responsible for constructing a brand new Drupal site for the library. Our main goal was to reorganize the content in a way that would showcase the library’s core collections and research centers, while also encouraging more visits and program registrations. Additionally, we worked on expanding the search functionality to make it easier for users to find information. In a later phase, we made the site responsive and improved the overall user experience, particularly in terms of navigation and other components.

Math Arts was engaged as technical partner to design firm Studio Blue, and additional development support was provided by Weil Street.
