Career period
UCLA IT Services (2021–present)

I serve as the Lead Web Developer on the Web Services team, specializing in Drupal development and hosting on cloud platforms including Pantheon and Acquia. My responsibilities extend to maintaining our administrative Drupal profile called SiteDen and the Pantheon upstream for Drupal 9 sites, ensuring their seamless operation.

I’ve successfully executed the automated migration of more than 50 Drupal 9 sites from Acquia Cloud Site Factory to Pantheon, streamlining their management. Additionally, I’ve orchestrated the automated conversion of around 13,000 SiteDen nodes from Layout Builder to Layout Paragraphs, enhancing content management efficiency.

Although I am primarily a Drupalist, my management experience also extends to WordPress, where I migrate, maintain, and update sites from various campus departments. I’m currently developing a standardized WordPress hosting offering on Pantheon, utilizing Bedrock/Composer for optimal performance.

Furthermore, I'm committed to improving overall system performance and reliability by rearchitecting CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes. My role also encompasses knowledge-sharing, as I craft comprehensive documentation for hosting and site operations, catering to both technical and non-technical staff. Collaborating closely with security and operations teams, I contribute to defining best practices and play a pivotal role in addressing and escalating incidents.

I am currently employed as Lead Web Developer by UCLA IT Services in the Web Services unit.
